This classic Yves Saint Laurent vintage dress is in a luxe rich copper or caramel brown wool crepe. YSL made versions of this style of dress quite often, and he usually showed them belted with a variety of belts in a range of colors and materials. We are showing the dress belted in one of the images (belt sold separately) so you can see what it looks like. This seemingly simple dress is anything but! When you see how well it fits and how detailed the construction is, you will understand the appeal of vintage YSL pieces. The perfectly placed gentle pleats, yoke details and 3/4 bishop sleeves all make this a really special piece.

This dress has pretty top-stitching and flattering seam details and is gathered at the yoke and cuffs of the sleeves. The waist is also gathered but fixed, the dress closes with a side zipper and there are removable shoulder pads for structure. It has side slit pockets and rayon lining in the skirt only. The round neck was meant to be able to accommodate YSL's statement necklaces, which completed the look!
